Utilization of Sateri Lyocell

DB0864-8 is made with Sateri™ Lyocell and ELS cotton. It’s an environmental-friendly material.

Compared to viscose or polyester, lyocell owns more outstanding performance in sustainable development. Sourced naturally, applied by an Eco-friendly production process, and ends in biodegradable.

Compared to normal lyocell fiber, Sateri™ sourced from a certified plantation and adapts a close loop with an organic solvent which can be recycled 99.7% after production.

Supreme Comfort and Drape

DB0864-8 owns a supremely soft and drape hand feel.

Soft is easy to achieve by different tries, e.g. utilizing better yarn, thinner yarn, applying mercerizing finishing or decreasing density, etc.

But soft with drape is mostly uniquely achieved by lyocell.

When you touch it, you can feel it’s like a soft fabric with some certain weight. This feature is perfect for those who want a slightly shaped body while still wanting to keep a loose jean style.

Smooth to the Touch

Thanks to Sateri™ Lyocell, DB0864-8 owns a high uniformity and consistency.

After blending with other fibers and weaving in denim, it crafts a clean twill and very smooth denim surface.

Rope Dyed Blue

We apply the rope dyeing method to dye DB0864-8.

Compared to slasher dyeing, it owns more saturated blue, natural highs-and-lows, and in higher color consistency.

Moreover, to avoid frequent blurring washing shades, we improve the dyeing method and get a supreme blue color–clear and saturated blue, distinctive twill line, and high-contrast fading.

Classic Slub Style

Three important parameters of slub yarn:  length, spacing, and multiples. Combining the three data with other elements (elasticity, shrinkage, finishing, etc.), various unique slub styles were obtained. Commonly, slub styles are divided into slight slub, classic slub, rain slub, whole slub, and crosshatch slub.

DB0864-8 utilizes a classic slub, which can help us create different jean styles. In dark wash with slight PP, the slub style is looming, ideal for business casual jeans with a few stylish elements. If applied with monkey wash or any similar washing, ideal to craft a youthful stylish jean style.Especially with the dirty wash, which can highlight the slub, to create a classic and vintage jean style.
